While curiosity may have “killed the cat,” I can’t imagine a better alternative to a life worth living.

From the outset, I understood the unique mix within me: a blend of analytical and creative prowess. My ambidexterity not only served as a sign of this balance but also as a metaphor for how I navigate the world of design—melding logic with artistry, precision with intuition.
My curiosity shaped a diverse path, cultivating skills and perspectives for creative exploration. Whether with a pencil, model planes, guitar, camera, or paintbrush, through global travels, opting for a traditional university, or designing and developing web pages in the era of modem chirps, each choice molded my distinct creative journey.
Fueled by intrigue and necessity, I consistently position myself at the forefront of merging traditional design skills and techniques with disruptive technologies as a method for creating inspiring experiences accessible from a multitude of modalities, including the internet, mobile, social, AI, VR, and more.
Today, with the echo of headlines incessantly driving optimism and fear about the recent technological leaps of AI, we as creative professionals are confronted with making hard choices: Ignore it, fight against its influence, or fully embrace it as the next evolution in our ability to think, innovate, and create uniquely.
The reality is, “This isn’t my first rodeo,” and I’m leaning in.
In my perspective, the emerging realities of AI present a significant opportunity, perhaps even an obligation, to reshape the role of a Creative Director. This involves establishing a distinct vision for leveraging its vast potential as a potent tool to bring innovative concepts to life more efficiently and consistently exceeding the rapidly evolving expectations of our audiences.
Take a look at the case study I created using AI here.
Through all my experiences as a CD, I’ve come to realize that now more than ever the greatest value of my role is to be an “inquisitive and voracious chameleon,” constantly adapting to new ways of thinking, while pushing myself and the team members I work with to not simply react to tomorrow’s next trend but to create it.
What I bring to the table is a unique perspective and a demonstrated ability to apply the right combination of experience, skills, and disciplines effectively to provide whatever creative needs may arise, whether on my own or collaboratively with the support of a team.
